Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms:
By accessing or using HuntHub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service:
HuntHub provides outdoor safety tracking, real-time location sharing, group management, emergency SOS alerts, check-in safety monitoring, weather and forecast information, AI-powered species identification, in-app messaging, push-to-talk voice communication, community sharing, logbook recording, geo-fence alerts, map overlays, offline maps, and other tools for hunters, hikers, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts. Our services are designed to enhance safety but should not replace proper outdoor safety practices and equipment.
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate profile information and to use the service only for lawful purposes in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
4. Safety Disclaimers:
HuntHub is a supplementary safety tool and should not be your only means of emergency communication. Always carry appropriate emergency equipment and ensure you have alternative communication methods when venturing outdoors. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or reliability of our services. Specifically: The SOS feature broadcasts your location to nearby HuntHub users only. It is not a replacement for calling 911 or emergency services.The check-in safety system and automatic SOS depend on network connectivity and should not be relied upon as your sole safety measure.Push-to-talk voice communication requires an active internet connection and is not a substitute for radio or satellite communication devices.Geo-fence alerts depend on GPS accuracy and may not trigger precisely at boundary edges.
5. Location Accuracy & Map Data:
Location accuracy depends on GPS signal, device capabilities, and environmental factors. HuntHub is not responsible for inaccurate location data or any consequences arising from location inaccuracies. Map overlays including Wildlife Management Area boundaries, public lands, trails, water features, and river mile markers are sourced from third-party data providers and may not reflect current conditions. Property boundaries shown in future features are for reference only and should not be used for legal boundary determinations. Offline map tiles are sourced from OpenStreetMap and may not be up to date.
6. Weather, Forecast & AI Features:
Weather data, hunting forecasts, fishing forecasts, hiking forecasts, tide predictions, and outdoor advisories are provided for informational purposes only and should not be your sole basis for safety decisions. Forecast scores and game-specific ratings are algorithmic estimates and do not guarantee actual conditions or outcomes. AI-powered species identification provides best-guess results and should not be used as the sole basis for harvest decisions or regulatory compliance. Always verify species identification and consult official regulations independently.
7. Subscriptions & Payments:
HuntHub offers subscription plans with varying feature access. Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Subscription prices may change with advance notice. Auto-renewal can be managed through your device's subscription settings. Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store.
8. User Content & Community:
You retain ownership of content you create, including logbook entries, community feed posts, photos, calendar events, and messages. By posting content to the community feed, you grant HuntHub a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content within the app. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without notice.
9. Voice Communication Conduct:
Push-to-talk voice channels are provided for group communication during outdoor activities. You agree not to use voice features for illegal purposes, harassment, or transmission of harmful content. HuntHub does not record or store voice communications but cannot guarantee that other group members will not record conversations on their end.
10. Digital Wallet:
The Wallet feature is a personal document organizer for storing photos of your hunting licenses, fishing licenses, permits, and tags. It is not a payment method, digital currency wallet, or official license replacement. Wallet data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining valid physical licenses and permits as required by law. HuntHub does not verify the validity of documents stored in the Wallet.
11. SOS Feature & Emergency Use:
The SOS feature broadcasts your location to nearby HuntHub users within approximately 3 kilometers. It is designed to alert fellow outdoor enthusiasts to your emergency. False or deliberate misuse of the SOS feature may result in account suspension or termination. HuntHub is not an emergency service provider and bears no liability for emergency response times or outcomes.
12. Third-Party Services & Data:
HuntHub integrates with third-party services including Firebase, Agora, Google Gemini AI, Open-Meteo, NOAA, ArcGIS, RainViewer, and OpenStreetMap. Your use of these integrated services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Shop listings may link to external websites operated by third-party partners; HuntHub is not responsible for the content, products, or practices of these external sites.
13. Intellectual Property:
HuntHub and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by HuntHub and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Map data, weather data, and other third-party content are the property of their respective owners and used under license.
14. Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HuntHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to damages arising from inaccurate location data, failed emergency alerts, incorrect species identification, inaccurate weather or forecast data, missed check-in notifications, or interrupted voice communications.
15. Prohibited Uses:
You agree not to use HuntHub to: violate any laws or regulations; stalk, harass, or threaten other users; share another user's location without their consent; transmit malicious content; interfere with or disrupt the service; create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions; use the app while engaged in activities prohibited by law; or misuse the SOS or safety features.
16. Termination:
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms, misuse of safety features, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. Your locally stored data (offline maps, wallet items) will remain on your device until you uninstall the app.
17. Changes to Terms:
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
18. Governing Law:
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
